Remembering a valued member of our team: Max Schmidt
We are saddened to announce that Max Schmidt, a cherished former employee, passed away on March 13, 2026.
Max was part of The Orchard Mesa Irrigation District team from 2009 to 2021 and served as District General Manager. He played an integral role in the new Vinelands Power Plant, from funding and construction to generation of power. We are deeply grateful for the time Max spent with us and for the legacy he left behind.
We extend our deepest condolences to Max’s family and friends during this difficult time.
