August 2025 The river levels are low like in 2012 and 2018.  Some may remember OMID wasn’t able to supply all canals at once and had to rotate the water.  Water Restrictions are currently in effect.  We have been actively pinching all headgates for weeks to push water to the end of the canals, so everyone gets some water.  We will now tag headgates to not be opened and lock if not heeded.  As the river keeps dropping, we will have to become creative.  For those with pumps consider installing a low-pressure cutoff to shut off pumps automatically should water not be available.  Please shut off your headgate if the water is not needed to help with these conditions.
